JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Officer will be responsible for generating sales leads, supporting the consultative sales process to deliver tailored landscaping solutions that meet clients’ needs. The role requires a proactive individual with strong sales experience, eco-awareness, and excellent customer relationship skills.


SALARY

  1. Monthly retainer (fixed)
  2. Commission on closed sales
  3. Additional performance incentives may apply


KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Identify and engage potential customers
  2. Generate and qualify new leads through market research, networking, prospecting, conduct product presentations, and close deals
  3. Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-ups to maximize conversion and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  4. Develop in-depth knowledge to Support the consultative sales process by understanding client needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
  5. Develop strong client/stakeholder relationships and deliver exceptional post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. - Handle customer complaints effectively, ensuring quick resolution and high client satisfaction.
  6. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management to refine strategies and improve positioning.
  7. Track market trends, industry demands, sustainability practices and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  8. Working with internal teams, to support sales efforts and ensure customer satisfaction. 


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Experience- 3+ years of proven experience in sales

  1. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  2. Ability to resolve client complaints and manage conflict effectively.
  3. Hands on proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
  4. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  5. Smart, well-groomed and with Impeccable Integrity.
  6. Horticultural or strong understanding of sustainable/eco-friendly business practices (eco-awareness) is advantageous


KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  1.  Generate 50 leads per month.
  2. Achieve a 25% conversion rate on leads.
  3. Maintain 90%+ customer satisfaction score.
  4. Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
